This Privacy Policy describes how Angel Sullivan ("I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and protects the information you share when you visit angelsullivan.com or engage with my offerings.

1. Who I Am

I'm Angel Sullivan. This is my personal website where I share essays, reflections, and depth work through a practical mysticism lens. I offer free blog content, a free email newsletter signup, and a paid email newsletter called Tiny Tidbits of Light ($3.50/month).

2. Information I Collect

Information You Give Me Directly

When you subscribe to my free newsletter through the signup form, I collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. You choose to do this - I don't add anyone to my list without their consent.

When you subscribe to Tiny Tidbits of Light (the paid newsletter at $3.50/month), you'll be directed to Teachery to complete payment and enrollment. At that point, Teachery collects your payment information and email address according to their own privacy policy (see section 4 below).

If you use the contact form on this website, I collect your name and email address, along with whatever you choose to share in your message.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, this site may collect basic, anonymized technical data through standard server logs - things like your browser type, the pages you visit, and your approximate location (country/region level). This happens automatically as part of how websites work. I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising tools.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies required for basic site functionality - for example, to keep the site running properly. I do not use cookies to track you across other websites, serve you ads, or build a profile of your browsing behavior.

3. How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect to:

Respond to your messages and inquiries
Send you the free newsletter (that you request) when new blog posts are published or when I have other little bits to share
Send you Tiny Tidbits of Light (if you're a paid subscriber)

4. Third-Party Services

To run this site and newsletters, I work with a small number of trusted third-party platforms. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data.

Flodesk

I use Flodesk to manage my email lists and send newsletters. When you subscribe to either the free newsletter or Tiny Tidbits of Light, your email address (and name, if provided) is stored in Flodesk. You can review their privacy practices here.

Teachery and Stripe

Tiny Tidbits of Light is hosted via Flodesk and delivered through Teachery. When you purchase a paid subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe (Teachery's payment processor). Teachery handles account creation for paid subscribers. Their respective privacy policies govern any data collected at the point of purchase and enrollment. Squarespace

This website is hosted on Squarespace, which may collect basic technical data as part of hosting services. You can review Squarespace's privacy policy at right here.

5. Email Communications

I will only send you emails if you have explicitly opted in - either through a newsletter signup on this site or when purchasing Tiny Tidbits of Light.

Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and I will remove you from that list promptly. Unsubscribing from the free newsletter does not affect paid newsletter communications, and vice versa.

6. Children's Privacy

This website and its offerings are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact me through the contact form and I will delete it.

I take reasonable precautions to protect your information. This site uses HTTPS encryption. The third-party platforms I work with - Flodesk, Teachery, and Squarespace - maintain their own security practices.

No method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but I do my best to handle your information carefully and work only with reputable services.

9. Data Retention

I retain your email address and name on my newsletter lists for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your information is removed from active lists. Teachery may retain purchase records for legal and accounting purposes in accordance with their own policies.

Messages sent through the contact form are retained only as long as needed to respond and resolve your inquiry.

10. Links to Other Websites

This site may contain links to external sites - including social media platforms, or other resources I recommend. Once you leave angelsullivan.com, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. I encourage you to review the privacy policies of any sites you visit.

11. Changes to This Policy

If I make significant changes to this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
